ABOUT OUR Organic Compost

Our organic compost is made from wood chips, vegetation, and grass with green sources of carbon and nitrogen added at just the right time in the cooking process.  Our compost has completed  cooking and will not generate excess amounts of heat to damage plants. We make it right on our farm in Ladson.  The process takes more than 3-5 years to turn raw wood chips  into a fine compost with just enough small pieces to promote root growth and product sustainability. Buddy created this natural development process that is virtually free of trash, chemicals and pesticides because he could not find an affordable product that his standards for quality. So, he made his own.

Our compost is pH balanced and infused with active mycelium threads for improved plant immunity and health.  It is not pasteurized, so all of the great bacteria are still alive.

Our compost meets industry standards to be certified. However, the certification process is expensive to obtain and maintain, so we have chosen to not pursue certification. Being certified will not make the compost any better just more expensive for you.

Our current batches are the best yet. We are the only place to get our compost as we do not sell it through any distributors.
